The name
In Ancient Greek mythology, the Erotes were the collective winged gods associated with love. These gods – Eros, Anteros, Hedylogos, Hermaphroditus, Himeros, Hymenaios and Pothos – each signified different aspects of love, from desire to longing to unrequited love. Music and the Erotes, therefore, have been inextricably linked through time.

The purpose
Erotes is an electronic dance music and deep house curator, founded in 2021 in Brooklyn, New York. Erotes seeks to help people discover new music and artists. This includes exposure through the different social media channels, as well as via interviews with well-known and upcoming artists.
